I'd love to be your buddy!

Duke is a BIG stunning Bichon who's about 5 years old and weighs a stout 32 pounds!  He's the Arnold Schwarzenegger of Bichons :)  Poor Duke was adopted from the same shelter the undeserving owners dumped him at in 2016.  Their claim was he bit but didn't break the skin.  Dogs that are "biters" most definitely break the skin - take it from me.  Dogs that someone (adult or kid) does something to they shouldn't have done or something that hurts the dog, a snap that doesn't break the skin is a warning. Duke has been nothing but charming and affectionate since he's been with us.  In addition, we discovered he's a great guard dog and will alert bark when someone comes up to the door.  He gets along with other dogs but can be bossy. Because we error on the side of caution, Duke needs a home with no small children.
