I'd love to be your buddy!

Billy Bob is a Shih Tzu/Lhasa mix who's about 5 years old and weighs 14 pounds.  This poor guy was a stray that ended up at Downey shelter and was such a matted mess he had to be tranquilized to shave him down.  It was like a straight jacket and was pulling his skin.  Doesn't it look like he has a sock on in the before pic?  It's likely he was never groomed in his life.   Billy Bob loves to chew on bones but has some resource guarding issues probably due to the hard life he had.  He's a sweet boy who gives doggie kisses and loves to cuddle.  He's content to just sit next to you and never demanding.  He has no separation anxiety issues and is a quiet guy.  Billy Bob is great on a leash and loves to go for walks.  He's friendly with other dogs and social with strangers.  Billy Bob will be best in an adult only home.
