I'd love to be your buddy!

Ziggy is a terrier who's about 3 years old and weighs about 25 pounds.  Ziggy is a special dog. Of all the four-legged friends I've worked with in the past, he is by far one of the smartest. Ziggy is a gentle, mellow, go-with-the-flow type of dude. Whether you're in the kitchen, your room, or the backyard Ziggy just wants to be by his people and sit at your feet. He'll hop in the car and patiently sit the whole ride. He knows his commands (sit, stay, shake, down) and has amazing endurance for long/multiple walks a day.  Ziggy needs an adult only home with a dog savvy owner/owners who can give him the exercise and structure he needs.  From his past life in the streets, he does appear to have some slight anxiety that, if approached too rapidly or aggressively in his hind region, he will let you know he does not want to be pet at the moment.  He also experiences a little more angst if he's not given the proper outlet for his energy.  He would be great in a home that wants to be involved with their dog and include him in their lives.   Ziggy absolutely loves to play fetch. He will chase a ball for hours, or until he falls over from exhaustion.  He loves belly rubs and just wants to please his humans. His orange eyes will win your heart and his personality will leave you laughing and constantly smiling.
