I'd love to be your buddy!

 Sammy is a poodle who's about 8 years old.  The heartbreak and guilt I have over this one is that he was a beautiful young bichon poodle mix I adopted in 2013 to a guy that was a friend of a previous adopter who checked out great and seemed wonderful.  I got a call from Lancaster shelter 2 weeks ago saying someone turned in their dog chipped back to me!  Poor Sammy was in hideous condition with a giant abscess on his mouth that was there for so long that it infected his sinus and rotted his teeth. We got him totally fixed up and I'm fostering him.  The funny thing is he eats like a horse and I have a feeling it's because it was so painful for so long and now he just enjoys it so much!  He is an amazing dog.  He's completely housebroken, super well behaved and no separation anxiety and very loving.  He's a happy little guy who will bark when he's excited and romp around but otherwise doesn't make a peep.  I vowed to find him the best home in the world where he'll be nurtured and loved forever.  I would keep him if I didn't already have 4 dogs.
