I'd love to be your buddy!

Josie is pretty Maltese terrier mix who was aged by the shelter as 10 but is more likely around 7-8.  She has clear eyes but her teeth were bad (neglect) so that's what they base the age on which is often inaccurate.  She's about 10 pounds.  This poor girl had been attacked by another dog and brought to the shelter.   She had puncture holes all over her chest and neck.  The shelter did xrays which showed there was no internal damage and treated the wounds.  She still has some scabs but is otherwise healed.  The heartwrenching part is that she was chipped and the people were contacted and they said they were coming for her and they never did :(  She is a gentle sweet girl who sat on my lap and gave me kisses. She gets along great with other dogs.  She'll make a perfect loving companion for some lucky person.
