Max is a super affectionate and fun terrier mix who is about 7 years old and weighs 16 pounds.  He loves to cuddle and has a jovial nature.  He's gregarious and friendly with everyone he meets and people can't help but smile when they see his wagging tail and cheerful demeanor.  Max loves to go for walks and is good in a car.  He's not a barker and gets along great with other dogs.  Max is amazingly resilient for how callus his previous owners were.  The first people adopted him from the shelter in 2016, he ended up back in the same shelter in 2017, was adopted out again, and this time the people dumped him back at the same shelter in Oct of 2020.  Through all of this somehow Max continues to trust and love humans  - man's best friend even though often man doesn't deserve such a best friend.
