Susie Q is a 7 year old Maltese mix who weighs about 6 pounds.  She was turned into the Lancaster shelter from her owners, scared and with a mouth full of rotted teeth :(.  After seeing the dentist she feels much better but must eat only wet food for the rest of her life.  Little Susie Q is very shy at first but once you hold her she melts into your lap and gives you delicate little kisses on your hand.  She knows how to use the doggy door or wee-wee pads and has never had an accident in her foster home.  Susie Q needs a quiet home with someone who will be patient with her as she continues to overcome her shyness.  She is a sweet little love muffin looking for a lap to rest her head.
