I'd love to be your buddy!

Roo is a 3 year old Australian terrier mix who weighs about 18 pounds.  Roo was turned into the Lancaster animal shelter by his owners because they could no longer keep him.  We have a feeling Roo was not treated very well because he is weary of strangers, especially men.  Once he gains your trust though, Roo will stare into your eyes, follow you wherever you go and give you sweet little kisses.  Roo is potty trained and is beginning to understand people will not hurt him.  However, Roo will do best in an adult woman only home with someone who is willing to be patient with his trust issues and in return he will make a devoted and loving companion.  He bonds very strongly with his lady and becomes very possessive with men that come between them.
