I'd love to be your buddy!

Alma is a beautiful little poodle girl who's about 13 pounds and 8 years young.  She's pure love.  She loves to snuggle and hunker in close, on a lap or in bed, loves being petted and massaged and she gives little kisses back in thanks.  She’s eager to please, and obeys sit, stay, come; and she quickly picks up routine. You get the feeling that she’s paying close attention to you, taking it all in. Alma follows her foster mom from room to room, and will make herself cozy wherever she is.  

Alma has an enlarged heart and is on a heart medication twice a day.  She has been thoroughly worked up with a cardiologist and has had every test possible to accurately diagnose the state of her health.  The great news is it does not cause any distress and you'd never know by her energy level.  It's a simple condition completely controlled with one pill twice daily which Bichons and Buddies will be happy to provide for as long as needed.  

Alma has some separation anxiety so a house is a must with someone who is home most of the time and would also do well with another dog.  She is completely housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She’s a very good walker, keeps rhythm, doesn’t pull.  She’s easy to take along when going out; comfortable in the car and loves her outings. At home she’s usually very mellow happy to occupy herself with her kong ball with peanut butter and tennis balls.  She’s social with other dogs in the neighborhood and sweet with kids.

 Alma is the perfect little girl ready to shower some lucky person with love and affection and complete devotion.
