Coconut is a joyful little Maltese who may have some hummingbird in him.  He's only 8 pounds.  Coconut has a lot of energy and loves to romp around.  He's exuberant and very affectionate and loves to give doggie kisses.  Poor Coconut was a stray that came into the shelter in a horribly matted condition and unfortunately the shelter shaved him naked :(  You can see from the before pic that when it grows back he'll be a handsome guy.  Coconut would be best in a house with a yard or a more suburban area where he can be walked without encountering a lot of people or dogs.  He's reactive and vocal when he's on a leash and sees other people nearby or dogs.  He is okay with dogs off leash however he does have a dominant personality so he's best with passive dogs.  Coconut loves everyone including kids and is a happy, funny dog who will put a smile on your face.
