I'd love to be your buddy!

Cookie is a happy little black cockapoo that loves her toys, loves affection, and loves attention.  She's young, 3-4 years old, has perfect teeth, sparkling eyes, and a cuddle for you.  She's about 18 pounds, and needs some more exercise to lose a pound or two!  She loves walks, and when she hears the keys she comes running!  She also loves riding in the car, and looking out at the world. She would do best with an active owner/family and Cookie is super smart and loves the stimulation.   She does especially well with children - she loves pets and belly rubs and attention.  Cookie pulls a little on a leash, but is quickly learning how to walk next to you. She loves being with her peeps but is not a needy dog.  Cookie is perfectly fine spending some time on her own and is content to play with her toys or chew happily on a bone. She's a little nervous around strangers she first meets but after a couple of pets and reassurance she relaxes.  Cookie gets along with other dogs she meets on her travels but prefers to be the only dog in the residence.  This well-behaved little girl will make a great addition to any family.
