I'd love to be your buddy!

Bruno is not the descriptive name of this heartbroken little boy.  He was discarded at the Lancaster shelter by some cruel, inhumane owner.  The reason?  "Didn't want any more."  Like a pair of old shoes.  The state of his coat spoke volumes about his neglect.  Clearly he was left outside and covered in burrs and foxtails.  He had to be shaved down but his beautiful coat will grow back in no time.  

I can only surmise that is the name the owners gave the shelter personnel.  "Bruno" is the embodiment of the word resilience.  His joyful wiggles on his back for a belly rub send a strong signal that he's ready to trust and love again and willing to take the risk this time will be FOREVER.  

He's a shy little Teri-Poo who's about 1 year old and weighs only 10 pounds.  He's very loving and affectionate and loves to snuggle.  He gets along great with other dogs and would be good with kids as he's super docile and mellow.  Whoever adopts "Bruno" will have the gratification of experiencing the transformation of a heartbroken dog into an exuberant, devoted member of the family.
