I'd love to be your buddy!

Sampson is a gorgeous Doodle who is 4 years old and weighs 45 pounds.  This majestic boy was dumped at the shelter by his owners for who knows what reason.  Poor Sampson spent 3 weeks in the shelter and then came down with kennel cough and was put on the list to be euthanized.  What a tragedy that would have been.  He's the sweetest most gentle dog you can imagine and was so grateful to get out of there.  This is a before-bath pic so he looks a little dingy.  He has an amazing personality and connects with you on a soulful level when he gazes right into your eyes.  He's very devoted without being clingy and loves to just hang out wherever you are.  He's very affectionate and loves to put his head in your lap for some pets.  Sampson is playful and loves his stuffed toys.  He does not bark (I've been fostering him for 2 weeks and haven't heard him once)  and has no separation anxiety although both of us prefer he not be left alone for long periods of time.  He gets along great with other dogs and is social with everyone he meets.  Sampson is great on a leash and doesn't pull.  He'll be absolutely stunning when his coat grows out.  Sampson is a rare find within rescue and will make a wonderful addition to any family.
