Buffy is a sweet, happy Poodle/Maltese mix who's only about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 20 pounds.  Poor Buffy was brought into the Lancaster shelter as a stray.  She was matted to the skin (see before pic attached) and full of foxtails.  The shelter shaved her naked and pulled out multiple foxtails from her body and ears.  Buffy remained loving and resilient through all of it.  From the moment we got her out she was super affectionate and outgoing which speaks volumes of her innate temperament.  Buffy gets along great with other dogs and is good on a leash.  She rides quietly and calmly in a car.  Buffy is great with kids and social with strangers.  Please look past her hairless body now and think about what she'll look like in a couple of months with a beautiful soft non-shedding coat.  Buffy will make a wonderful addition to any family.  If interested, please fill out the adoption application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com
