K ing is an approximately 1 year old Lhasa Apso/poodle mix that is smart, eager to please and bonds quickly. He has a calm and mellow disposition. He’s still working on making good choices on his own so he does best when there is calm energy, structure and clear guidance from his humans. He is potty trained and does excellent in the crate. King is currently fostering with a trainer to work on neutrality around strangers, dogs and wildlife. He does best with slow, controlled introductions and having a human who will advocate for his space is important.  He has a lot of love to give and is absolutely worth the effort of earning his trust. 

He would do best in a home without children, or one with children 12 and older. He can be in a home with other calm dogs but a slow introduction will be necessary. 

 

King’s foster is offering a free initial 1hr training session and 50% off future training sessions so his adopter feels supported in their journey with King.
