I'd love to be your buddy!

 

Columbo is an incredibly sweet and affectionate toy poodle who’s about 5 years old and weighs only 8 pounds. This little guy was originally picked up as a stray and lanquished at East Valley shelter for over a month until he was finally adopted by some clueless young couple who wanted a super active dog to keep up with their puppy! Needless to say that’s not the type of dog Columbo is and they promptly dumped him back at West Valley shelter. At that point his time was up and if we had not intervened this poor guy’s life would have been cut short. You’ve never met a more loving and easy-going dog than Columbo. He’s actually very spunky and loves to go for walks (not hikes) and play with his stuffed toys. More than anything he loves to cuddle in your lap and he’ll follow you from room to room just to keep you company. For Columbo it’s all about pleasing you. He’s incredibly well-behaved and attentive and responsive. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids and anyone he meets for that matter. He has one of those special, stellar personalities that serves as a testimonial to how resilient these wonderful four-legged friends are.
