Cotton is a very special little angel. SheÂÂs about 10 months to a one year and weighs 8 pounds. Cotton was born with a neurological deficit which manifests itself by her trotting around in circles with her head cocked to one side. ItÂÂs kind of like sheÂÂs on a treadmill only itÂÂs circular She does walk fairly well on a leash although she can have a tendency to weave. One important point is that when she is picked up, her head must be supported by your hand (similar to a newborn), otherwise it will flop over. Cotton is also deaf, but the good news about that is that she doesnÂÂt bark Although it may sound like this adorable little girl has some major issues, in reality she has no idea anything is wrong. SheÂÂs a happy and gregarious pup who LOVES other dogs and plays until one of them wears out. Her deficits donÂÂt really present any challenges in her care and in fact she is trained to go on a ÂÂpooch pottyÂÂ as well as outside. The most amazing thing about Cotton is that when you pick her up and hold her, sheÂÂs as calm and content as can be and gazes happily into your eyes with nothing but adoration. You can cuddle with her hours and sheÂÂs still and snuggly ÂÂ put her down and sheÂÂs like a wind up toy! Cotton is the most unique dog IÂÂve ever had in our rescue and certainly one of the most loving and entertaining. She loves to play with toys and her exuberance is sure to put a smile on your face. WeÂÂre confident that the perfect forever home for Cotton is out there, but in the meantime I will continue to enjoy every moment I spend with her. More about CottonGood with Dogs, Good with Kids
