I'd love to be your buddy!

Java is a mellow little shih tzu girl who’s about 1 year old and weighs 9 pounds. She ended up the Lancaster shelter as a stray and was unfortunately overlooked since she is on the shy side. Her time quickly ran out but lucky for her she had many fans who advocated for her safety through numerous Facebook postings. Little Java touched our hearts and we just couldn’t let this precious little girl be killed. She is coming out of her shell and loves to be held and spoken to softly. She gets along with other dogs but right now is not really engaging with them. Java will need extra TLC to help her blossom into the happy and self-confident little girl that she truly is. She will do best in a quiet environment.
