I'd love to be your buddy!

 

Melody is 1-2 year old teri-poo who lived with a family with a young child. When the manager of the building told the family that the dog could not stay, the father would sneak the dog out in the morning and back in at night. The man owned a junk yard in Compton and Melody would stay there until he closed but she had to be tied on a leash until closing. The family was lucky enough to find an independent rescuer to take her in, and in turn we’ve taken over the task of finding her a great home. Melody’s Energizer Bunny Mode is not really indicative of her overall personality. Knowing her recent background sheds some light on the cause of her hyperactivity. If I were on a chain all day I’d want to race around too! We’re sure that after a couple of jaunts to the doggie park to burn off this energy, Melody will settle in to a normal happy state with just the right amount of playfulness and calmness. She loves kids and other dogs and has poodle smarts (and a non-shedder!) which means she’s a quick study. Melody would love to be part of a family again.
