I'd love to be your buddy!

 

Reno is approximately 6-7 years old and and weighs about 13 pounds. This sweet bichon/poodle mix was a stray that ended up at Downey shelter. He was a horribly matted and flea ridden mess. Reno was obviously neglected and spent a great deal of time outside – the discoloration of his rear quarters will eventually grow out and be cut off, and now that he’ll never have to worry about being neglected, he’ll soon look like a fluffy teddy bear. Reno is affectionate, docile and an easy quiet guy with a mellow temperament and serenity that comes from being grateful to get out of the shelter alive. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is tolerant and passive – perfect with kids. Now that Reno visited the dentist for some deferred maintenance, he can give gentle doggie kisses without feeling self-conscious.
