I'd love to be your buddy!

 

Sherman is a handsome bichon/poodle mix who’s about 2 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. He was actually confiscated from his owners who were not caring for him at all and was held as an “evidence” dog while charges were pending. Although we do not not the outcome of the case, lucky Sherman was released for rescue and indeed it was a glorious day for him when I walked him out of the shelter and into the start of a new life. He was tranquilized and shaved down at the shelter because he was so terribly matted and when I initially got him out he was a nervous wreck. Who wouldn’t be! After just a couple of days Sherman morphed into a new dog and what emerged was the most exuberant, playful and affectionate pooch ever! He must have associated the camera pointing at him with a negative thing in his past because he certainly wasn’t happy about his picture being taken but trust me, this guy has a grin from ear to ear. Sherman gets along great with other dogs and has just the right amount of energy to be the perfect companion for brisk walks or cuddling on the couch. He’s not a barker nor a demanding dog and just wants someone to return all the love he has to give.
