I'd love to be your buddy!

Trooper earned his name after he was abandoned at a San Bernardino vet hospital after they brought him there with a severe eye infection caused from a fox tail. They neglected it so long that by the time they brought him in, his eye was too damaged and had to be removed :( They never showed back up to get him and there he sat in the back of a vet’s office for almost two months! One of the workers finally called me and told me his sad story and asked if I’d take him. How could I say no?? Trooper is a little shih tzu, pekineese mix who’s 2-3 years old and 8 pounds. He’s a loving, well-behaved little boy who is mellow and quiet and very responsive. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids. Trooper has a beautiful coat that will grow back in no time!
