I'd love to be your buddy!

Winnie is a darling little norwich terrier mix who was found running around in Lancaster with another dog we also took in named Artemis. She’s about 1 year old and weighs about 8 pounds. Most likely they just formed a pack for roaming the streets and weren’t from the same household. Initially when we got Winnie she was terrified and would cower. It was evident she was not given a lot of love or nurturing and had more of a survival instinct than anything. After a couple of weeks though of living with our other well-socialized pooches, she’s come out of her shell and attended her first adoption event last weekend where she did very well adjusting to all the activity and people. She now is seeking out affection and although still on the shy side, it’s obvious her true loving nature is just waiting to blossom. Winnie gets along great with all other dogs and is not a barker. No matter how terrified she was in the beginning, not once did she ever snap – that speaks volumes for what a gentle beautiful soul this adorable little girl is.
