I'd love to be your buddy!

Matt is an adorable Yorkie/poodle mix who’s about 2 years old and weighs a mere 7 pounds.  This poor emaciated matted mess was literally living in a gutter in San Bernardino.  Animal reg picked him up and he ended up at the city shelter which is one of the highest kill shelters in So. CA.   Matt was initially very scared although never once tried to snap – instead just huddled and stared at you with those big sad eyes.  These pictures were taken soon after we just got him and tell the story of his emotional state then.  Fortunately with love and nurturing Matt has now come out of his shell, and while still shy, he definitely is more spunky and animated.  Matt loves to cuddle and be on your lap and enjoys a quiet environment.  He is still spooked by loud rambunctious young kids so older ones would be best.   He would most prefer someone who worked from home or was retired so he could keep them company as he loves to be by your side
