I'd love to be your buddy!

Max is one of two maltipoos that were being turned in by their owner at the Lancaster shelter.  Fortunately for them, a fellow rescuer was standing in line when they came in and immediately intervened and grabbed them before they entered one of the highest kill shelters there is in the system.  Max is a happy, well-adjusted boy who was obviously not mistreated – just neglected.  He was in a horribly matted, flea-infested condition and had to be shaved down, but hi beautiful apricot tinged coat will grow back in no time.  He’s about 2-3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds.  Max gets along great with other dogs and kids and in fact came from a home with many.   Max loves all the attention and love he’s now getting and we’ve assured them that his next home will be his forever home.
