I'd love to be your buddy!

Rooney is a sweet little Bichon/poodle mix who’s about 10 pounds and is approximately 2-3 years old.  He was a stray that was brought in to a Bakersfield shelter and was so severely matted that the staff couldn’t even examine him!  Poor Rooney was probably never was groomed in his life.  Once he was free of his straightjacket he was like a new dog!  Rooney is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and give gentle doggie kisses.  He’s so grateful to have been saved he’s eager to do whatever he can to please.  Rooney is a well-adjusted guy who gets along with everyone he meets and is good with other dogs.  He’s gentle and has a mellow temperament and is a non-barker.  Rooney is a great dog who will fit right in to any family setting.
