I'd love to be your buddy!

Captain is a sweet 2 year old bichon/shih tzu mix who weighs about 10 pounds.  He was dumped by his owners because.....you'll never believe it.  Because he had ticks!  Seriously???  The really incredible thing is when the shelter vet checked him, he had NONE!  Just when you thought you heard it all.  Well, all we have to say is good ridance to the previous owner.  Captain deserves a guardian who is going to cherish him and care for him regardless of what he has!  Captain is perfectly healthy and happy and in fact is one of the  most well adjusted little dogs coming out of a shelter we've seen.  He's incredibly affectionate and gregarious and loves everyone he meets.  He's great with other dogs and is not demanding in any way nor a barker.  He has a superb temperament and is great with kids and makes a wonderful travel companion.  There's not a jealous bone in his body and his main goal is to shower everyone he meets with love and bring a smile to their face - which he most certainly does!
