I'd love to be your buddy!

Izzy is a handsome shih tzu/poodle mix who is 8 years old and weighs about 10 pounds.  His owner died and no one in the family could take him :(  Izzy has had one owner his whole life and is understandably disconcerted being in a new environment.  He's a shy guy who's quiet and mellow.  He's starting to come out of his shell and it's obvious he has an affectionate, loving demeanor.  Izzy gets along with other dogs but it's clear he probably didn't have a lot of exposure to them as he was initially scared around them.  He's overcome that however and is coexisting well amongst the pack.  Izzy would be perfect for an older person who wants a quiet devoted companion who's low maintenance.
