I'd love to be your buddy!

Dare is a Shih tzu/Lhasa mix who's about 5 years old and weighs approximately 12 pounds.  He was dumped at a high kill shelter in Bakersfield by his callous owners who obviously never groomed him.  He's one of the worst matted dogs we've ever seen.  Despite how uncomfortable he must be, Dare never stops wagging his tail or giving sweet doggie kisses.  He hasn't lost an ounce of faith in humanity and treats everyone he meets like his long lost friend.  Dare gets along great well with other dogs and has a more alpha personality which gives him a lot of character.  He's super smart and needs a dog savvy owner who who won't let him run amok :)  Dare would be best in an adult only home.  He is very playful without being hyper and Dare is not a barker.  This little guy will make a wonderful devoted companion.
