I'd love to be your buddy!

Athena is a beautifully unique poodle/schnauzer mix who's only one year old and weighs about 18 pounds.  This beauty ended up as a stray in the Lancaster shelter looking like a dirty dish rag.  She wasn't appealing to anyone and time ran out. She came to our attention when we were there rescuing another dog - we couldn't turn our back on such a hopeful/pleading look.  Athena is not only sweet and docile when you're petting and cuddling her, but has an engaging playful side to her when romping around the yard.  Athena is great with kids and dogs and will make a perfect addition to any household.
