I'd love to be your buddy!

Astro is a sweet soul who had a hard life.  He was turned into a high kill shelter by his owners for no fault of his own.  Just another victim of someone's disposable concept of pets.  Astro was in horrible condition - flea infested and matted to the bone.  He was terrified in the shelter and cowered in the back corner - an attitude that expedited his demise.  Had it not been for the intervention of an advocate on his behalf, poor Astro would have joined the masses of others who everyday are wheeled out the back door.  It took a couple of days for Astro to understand that he was now safe and would never end up on death row again.  His loving personality blossomed and he relaxed into the affectionate, calm  dog he really is.  Astro is great on a leash and well-socialized.  He's polite and friendly with strangers and is good with other dogs and kids.  He's a mellow guy who doesn't mind hanging out on his own when you're gone but always there to welcome you home with a wagging tail and happy smile. Astro is a super easy dog who's ready to be someone's devoted companion forever.
