I'd love to be your buddy!

Tanner is a darling, docile little cockapoo boy who's 1 year and 1 month old and approximately 13 pounds.  This sweet boy was turned into a high kill shelter because his owners were moving.  Tanner was clearly confused and withdrawn when we sprung him from death row.  After a few days of lots of love and cuddles combined with romp time with his roomies, Tanner's spirits are high and he's confident we're going to find him a forever home.  This sweet guy is gentle and affectionate and has a mellow temperament.  He's great on a leash and gets along with other dogs.  His owners didn't do a very good job of caring for him so he had to be shaved down, but his gorgeous non-shedding carmel colored coat will grow back in no time.  Tanner likes is fine with kids but prefers to be in a home with adults.
