I'd love to be your buddy!

Huey is possibly one of the sweetest more soulful dogs I've had the joy of saving.  He was out of time at a high kill shelter and one of volunteers who interacted with him quite a bit implored various rescue groups to take him.  Huey was not very attractive looking in the shelter but we trusted what the volunteer described of his personality and she was spot on.  Huey is calm and super affectionate and those big beautiful eyes communicate how grateful he is to be given a chance at happiness and love.  Huey is a quiet guy who is wonderful with kids and other dogs. His passive demeanor has a calming effect which would make him a great therapy dog.  Huey has an adorable smile that will win anyone's heart.  Please come by and meet him to see the beauty within.
