I'd love to be your buddy!

Leggins is a cute poodle/bichon mix who's only about 1 year old and weighs approximately 15 pounds.  He's got long graceful legs which he loves to drape around your neck when you carry him.  He's super gentle and docile and very affectionate.  He clearly was not used to getting love, and initially when you go to pet him he'll crouch down a little, feeling intimidated; however, the minute you pet him and he realizes you're his friend, he just melts into a wiggly waggy tail and happy smile.  Leggins has a lot to be happy about as he was on his way into the euthanization room when one of the volunteers called us over quickly and expressed the urgency of the situation.  We looked at poor terrified Leggins and couldn't let him perish.  He's the most grateful, affectionate dog ever and is super well-behaved and gets along with all the other dogs and is great with kids.  This fun-loving youngster will be bring years of happiness to some lucky family.
