I'd love to be your buddy!

Maple is a sweet little Bichon/Maltese mix who was in line with her owner at a shelter about to become another intake number.  Fortunately for her one of our transporters was at the shelter to get another dog we were saving and asked the lady if she was turning her in.  It was the common theme of so many that are dumped every day of the week.....can't take care of them anymore....don't have time.....moving....etc. etc.  Maple is a loving, well-adjusted girl who at the moment can't understand why she isn't in her home anymore.  She just want's to be held and be on someone's lap so she can give them kisses to prove she really is a good girl and didn't deserve to be abandoned.  Maple loves to go for walks and is great on a leash.  She's friendly and social with everyone she meets and gets along great with other dogs.  Right now she's thinking more about finding new guardians than she is finding a doggie playmate however.  Maple would love to have a home where someone was around alot.  We promised her the next home would be her forever home.
