I'd love to be your buddy!

Briggs is a gorgeous Wheaten Terrier mix who's only about 10 months old and weighs approximately 10 pounds.  This poor pup has gone through a lot in his short life.  Somehow he ended up as a captive of a transient who ironically was camped out not far from one of the Valley shelters.  When an shelter worker who had just gotten off work observed this person start to physically abuse this sweet pup, he immediately confronted the abuser and was able to confiscate the pup.  Unfortunately Briggs spent some time behind bars held as "evidence" in the abuse case.  He's free at last and ready to embark on a whole new life ..... one which he deserved right from the start. Fortunately this little guy, like so many rescued dogs, are amazingly resilient and forgiving.  Briggs' spirit has not been broken although he can nip at small children if he feels threatened.  He is best off in an adult only home or one with teenage kids.  He's mostly just a fun-loving, super affectionate, goofy pup.  Briggs loves other dogs and is super cuddly and affectionate.
