I'd love to be your buddy!

Nigel is a Poodle mix who's about 3 years old and approximately 18 pounds.  This regal guy exudes a zen aura that has an immediate theraputic calming effect on anyone he meets.  Maybe he developed that after suffering the loss of an eye and a fractured orbital bone caused from blunt trauma to the head.  Nigel is a classic example of how forgiving AND resilient dogs are.  And what lessons we could learn from them.  He was caught as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter.  He was immediately a shelter favorite who advocated for him.  Nigel truly has beyond a stellar personality.  And as a one-eyed, ball-obsessed  dog owner myself, I can tell you they do just fine and don't have to drive a car :)  It's no surprise he's fabulous with kids and other dogs.  Come meet Nigel - you'll see what I mean.
