I'd love to be your buddy!

Carmela is a sweet Bichon/poodle mix who's about 1 year old and weighs about 12 pounds.  She and two other dogs came from a home where the owner (an older man) had found and kept them for about five months.  Unfortunately he was very impatient and harsh and a caring neighbor finally intervened and talked him into giving up all the dogs. Carmela was initially very timid and spook easily at loud noises or sudden movements.  After being fostered by me and being surrounded by five other dogs and 6 cats she soon "found herself."  She's developed into a sweet, playful pup that thrives on love and praise.  Her exuberance and affection is heart-warming to see, and her transformation into a confident, well-behaved (totally housebroken) happy go-lucky pup is an incomprably rewarding experience.  Come meet sweet Carmela and get ready to be charmed.
