Gretle and her sister, Maxie, were picked up as strays and ended up at a high kill shelter in the Inland Empire.  Fortunately these two sweet girls were brought to our attention as having run out of time and were the favorites of some of the workers there.  Gretle a docile, quiet, affectionate little girl who is a bit timid upon first meet but quickly warms up once she gets a few gentle pets.  She's good on a leash and a perfect lady when coming across other dogs walking in the vicinity.  She gets along great with other dogs and kids.  Although it would be optimum for her and her sister to go together, in reality she will be very happy in any home where she'll receive love and nurturing and fulfillment of the promise of a forever home.
