I'd love to be your buddy!

Shanti is a cute little Shih-tzu girl who's about 1 year old and weighs approximately 10 pounds.  She was a stray who was in a high kill desert shelter and with the way she looked there was no way she was going to get adopted.  This sweet, docile little girl is a real cuddle bug and quiet as a mouse (I don't think I've ever heard her bark!)  She's got a mellow temperament and great doggie manners.  She's social with other dogs and is good with kids.  Poor Shanti was so matted she had to be shaved down but her beautiful hair will grow back in no time.  At least you can get an idea by the "before" pic!
