I'd love to be your buddy!

Juliet is little Bichon/Poodle mix who's about 2 years old and weighs approximately 10 pounds. She's very lucky to be alive, and if it weren't for a fellow rescuer who risked her own safety by running down the middle of a busy street, she would most certainly not be here today.  Juliet was a giant matted mess and filthy.  It was obvious she had been on the street for a while.  What was most disturbing was our discovery once we shaved off the matting.  Poor Juliet had large puncture wounds all over her neck and back.  She clearly had been attacked by a dog at some point in the recent past.  We immediately got her to our vet for a full exam and treatment for the wounds.  She's doing great now and has come out of her shell and is enjoying all the love and attention and good food.  Juliet gets along with other dogs and is comfortable with strangers she meets.  She has a mellow disposition and is very affectionate and loving.  She loves going for walks and is great on a leash and in a car.  Her coat will grow back beautifully.  Stay tuned for new pics once we finish grooming her head.  Her spa day was interrupted with an emergency visit to the vet for her wounds.  Juliet will be a wonderful addition to any family.
