I'd love to be your buddy!

Miguel is a handsome Bichon/Poodle mix who's about 3 years old and weighs approximately 17 pounds.  He's a recent imigrant straight from Mexico (but don't worry - he's bilingual :) Poor Miguel was fending for himself on the streets as most dogs do in Mexico while trying to avoid the gangs that regularly torture and kill homeless dogs.  Fortunately for Miguel, a rescuer in the area found him and worked with us to get him state side where he could have a chance at a wonderful life.  Indeed this special guy deserves the very best.  He has a stellar personality and serene demeanor - and so greatful to finally be on the road to a new life.   Miguel is unwavering in his trust of people despite his ordeal which is a true testament to his incredible personality.  He's friendly with strangers, gets along great with other dogs and is gentle and patient with kids.  Miguel is super smart and attentive and so perfect on a leash that one would think he's gone through obedience training.   He's playful but not hyper and is not a barker.  If you could create your ideal virtual dog, Miguel would be it.
