I'd love to be your buddy!

Caleb is a handsome poodle/maltese mix who's about 2 years old and weighs about 14 pounds.  This poor guy along with 4 others were dumped at a high kill shelter by the same owner - most likely a backyard breeder.  They were all completely shut down and terrified when we got them with Caleb being the most timid.  Fortunately our wonderful foster home has helped him start coming out of his shell and he's quickly learning to walk on a leash and loves to cuddle. The most important elment in his progress has been the other resident dogs. Puppy mill dogs in general blossom much faster when they're with other dogs as they learn to trust and play through interacting with them.  There's no doubt that Caleb will blossom into a wonderful, loving, happy dog -- he just needs someone with  patience and another dog.
