I'd love to be your buddy!

Tecate is a cute Teri-Poo who's about 3 years old and weighs about 18 pounds.  He's one lucky dog to have made it out of a shelter in Mexico that bears his name.  This poor guy had a horrible (but very treatable) skin condition that caused the loss of his hair and what was left of it had to be shaved down due to severe matting.   He also had bite wounds and a couple of large gashes on the sides of his body which required drains and a 5 day hospital stay.  Although his adversities took a toll on his body, his personality and demeanor remained unblemished.  This sweet, playful boy is devoted and affectionate and is comfortable around strangers. He's calm and mellow and gets along well with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog.  Now that he's been receiving good nutrition and his skin condition was addressed, his hair is already growing back.  He's got beautiful coloring and will be stunning when it all grows back.  Tecate is looking forward to the next chapter in his young life in a new country.
