I'd love to be your buddy!

Laura is a beautiful Bichon/Poodle mix who's about 5 years old and weighs 12 pounds.  She was surrendered by her owner who obviously didn't care for her well.  Her coat was horribly matted (and required a shave down:(   She's sad right now but we've assured her we'll find her a much better home - and one that's forever.  Even though she's bewildered right now, she greatfully soaks up my tender words and cuddles.  Laura gets along with other dogs and is reported to get along with kids, and I can't imagine she wouldn't.  Laura would be perfect for a calm quiet household.
